About Julie

Founder, Career Consultant

Julie grew up with an affinity for movement, exploration, and adventure, as well as connection through relationships. An athletic background played a significant role in her development, contributing to her interest in personality and team dynamics. These pillars continue to be integral aspects of her life and work today.

Her degrees in Psychology and Counseling, as well as her years serving as a teacher, administrator, high school volleyball/basketball coach, and social skills program coordinator, helped lay the foundation for Julie to meet a need she saw and start something on her own. The KYP was born out of a passion to help people in a practical and meaningful way.

Other Interests

Growth through authentic connection to people and experiences guide many of Julie’s values. She has always been drawn to exercise and the outdoors. Whether hiking, biking, HIIT, kickboxing, climbing, yoga, anything on the snow or water… she likes it all. She loves learning by exploring the world through travel, with deep ties to France, Montana, and Hawaii. Julie prioritizes time with the people most important to her and is energized by the richness of those relationships.
