My experience with Julie and The Know You Project has been so beneficial to my understanding of myself. Not only did I learn several aspects of my personality that surprised me, but I also gained an understanding of other peoples’ personalities. A program like this is so valuable for teenagers in high school because it helps one sort through their chaotic ideas of his or herself. You really discover what you’re passionate about and how you can apply that in the real world.
The Know You Project was one of the best things I could have done during my senior year to prepare for college. I was so overwhelmed about all of the different paths I could take and whether or not I would chose the “right” one for me. Through a series of tests and lessons, Julie helped me to understand who I am, what I am good at, and how I can apply that to my life—specifically a career path. What I loved most about the process was that everything was personalized to me and Julie was such an enjoyable person to work with. Now that I have learned so much about myself, I feel confident that I am equipped to make the best decisions for my future.
Going through this process I did not know what to expect and was very anxious to figure out what my strengths and weakness were. I was excited at the opportunity to figure out what major I would most likely enjoy and connect with strongly. I learned a lot about myself and how I interact with others that I had not realized before.
The assessments were extremely helpful and having Julie walk me through what each category meant only helped establish what I may want to do in my life! This process was an outstanding help for me to understand better what environment I prefer to be in and guide me on what to study in the years to come. One of my favorite parts is that Julie does not just tell you what you would be good at according to the assessments, she forms a relationship with you and gets to know you and what you enjoy or don’t enjoy. This is why this is so effective in my opinion, because she knows who you are as a friend not only just a client, but wants what is best for you.

Right before big milestones or changes in your life, it is common to have the feelings of, ‘What am I doing?’ or ‘What if I am making the wrong choice?’ or even worse, ‘WHO AM I?’. For me, the summer before heading off to college was filled with these emotions. My time with Julie answered many of those questions through a series of interviews, personality tests, lessons, and more. Because of The Know You Project, I was able to take a microscopic look at my life, what I believe, and what gifts God has given me to make me, me!
While it may seem like the project is all about you, it actually allowed me to also see the gifts that others have and taught me how to work effectively and cohesively with people who may be very different from me. Life is never going to be easy, but it can be easier if you know how to approach it with what God has given you. Julie and The Know You Project did just that for me. I may not have His plan or design all figured out, but I can now say the college freshman that was unsure of what she was doing or what was in God’s plan for her is ready to tackle her dreams and challenges with gusto and confidence.

The Know You Project and Julie Champion’s expertise was very valuable to our graduating senior son. Prior to meeting with Julie, he had little direction and little knowledge of what he was gifted in and type of job he would be best suited for. After meeting with Julie and going through the Know You Project we gained vision and helpful information regarding his strengths, talents, personality and giftings.
This new information has helped us make plans for his future and helped our relationship with our son as we have gotten to know him and understand him better. This process also narrowed down the many career choices available and helped him have a specific career pursuit.
Morgan’s expertise enabled her to pinpoint where my students needed improvement and she offered a clear pathway to growth in those areas. The students also became aware of their individual strengths, using those to build confidence and develop a clear game plan for the next chapter in their lives.
Our daughter had a general idea of her interests, but the time spent with Julie was invaluable in helping her solidify her direction for her college major. The sessions with Julie provided her with an environment of openness and trust as her strengths and weaknesses were discussed in a forum that helped her appreciate her unique personality. Julie helped our senior daughter work through decisions on her major and college. We were so pleased with the process and highly recommend it. It helped us as parents understand more fully the unique design that God has created in our daughter. It was good to see all of this on paper and to realize that her processing aligned with what the testing brought out. It made us appreciate and love her even more, if that was possible. Julie is very good at what she does and helps to bring many tests together to make sense of an individuals design in a broader sense. We will use her services again.
Julie’s work with our son was extremely helpful and insightful. We had general ideas around what we thought would be good post-high-school next steps for him, but after Julie took him through the Know You Project, we gained an invaluably clear picture of the type work-environment that’s suited to his personality and temperament. We weren’t sure initially what to expect from the Know You Project, but wow! We were so pleased with the whole experience that Julie walked though our daughter with. Julie helped her and us see her strengths and interests in a whole new way and it brought so much clarity for her future. We signed them both up for the full gamut of the Know You analysis over the summer. With Tiffany, we were pleased to confirm exactly what she and we had originally thought about her strengths and personality traits, giving her a stronger peace about her undergraduate major and likely future path. For Brittany, she saw in words some things which she had previously felt, but had trouble expressing coherently. For me personally, I was able to see that some of the ideas which I held for her were never going to work and that her personality, once described, was an excellent fit for other, equally rewarding professional options.
Digging deeper into spiritual gifts, understanding how our career interests connect with our gifts and the need to calm pre-college jitters are all reasons we chose to have our daughter work with Julie. The weeks Julie spent working with our daughter allowed our daughter to explore in a non-threatening way her thoughts on so many issues. Julie’s personal style and the way she connected with our daughter allowed her to ask herself questions and explore thoughts she had been holding inside for some time.
My husband and I would both highly recommend parents having their high school and college age children working with Julie. The confidence and deeper understanding of God’s work in her life our daughter had after these sessions was such a blessing. We will most definitely have Julie work with our son as well.
My 17 year old son was interested, engaged and raves about the process. Julie won’t map out your child’s future, but will help him focus on where his interests and passions lie. It narrowed the possible fields of study and motivated him to look into college majors he hadn’t thought about. Choosing your area of study can be overwhelming to anyone, especially a smart kid with very broad interests. Julie helped him narrow his focus to a handful of fields that he was motivated to learn more about. I highly recommend her.
Working with Julie was a great benefit to my identical twin sons. She helped them both to see how God had uniquely created them, gifted them and then gave them great guidance as they headed off for their freshman year in college. It was very helpful for them to understand and see how they are ‘wired’ and to receive this knowledge at such a crucial time in their lives. I had two groups participate in the Know You Project. One was a group of girls in their mid 20’s and the the other a group of women in their mid 50’s and older. Both groups benefited. The younger group felt that it helped them in their career choices and the other in knowing how to understand and deal with people in their everyday lives. Thank you Julie for bringing the Know You Project into our lives.
Being laid off from your job of more than 20 years, at age 56, is a very unsettling event. The last time I had looked for a job was during the previous century! I met Morgan, who worked with me on creating a resume. In fact, she created what I call my “magic resume.” It really did the job and my present employers have told me that they were greatly impressed by the way that she outlined my experience. I got several job offers!
For years I’ve been looking for a career that speaks to my strengths and personality. Until the Know You Project, I just tried everything I was offered, with bad results. No personal assessment has ever been this fruitful or accurate for me. The Know You Project showed me the areas of career interests that I should be focusing on and researching – but in a way that was completely modified to my circumstance. I had “me explained to me” in a way I’ve never experienced. This is something everyone should do!

I am so thankful for Julie and the Know You Project. I was stuck in a job where I had not enjoyed a single day of it.
